Budo Academy Physical

For Karate-do I have trained under various masters in the past some to mention: Teus Wingelaar (4th dan), Joop van Diermen (5th dan), Teruo Sano (9th dan). At this moment I work very closely with Jan Gronouwe (5th dan), who operates as my personal supervisor for the right Wado-ryu Karate-do level for Budo Academy Physical.

Besides all mentioned masters, I have trained with many more people. Including assistants of the mentioned masters, champions and other masters in different disciplines. Too many to mention, I am sorry.

All people have influenced me as a Martial Artist and as human being. I am very blessed to have met them in my life. Most important at this moment in my life, are my students. I study with them and because of their increasing level, I am still able to grow with them.

I have always tried to find the best masters in the world for all disciplines. I have traveled all over the world and spend all my life to study and train martial arts (Japan, Thailand, France etc.). I received all of my grades directly from, or with permission from my masters, or from the official federations. Because of the many Martial Arts I have trained and still train, I was not able to become champion in one of the sports. Sometimes my teacher told me to quit other martial arts, but I never could do this. Off course I joined competition in various sports, but in the end I wanted to become a good technical teacher rather than become a champion in a single discipline. Becoming a master in the Martial Arts, like my masters is my ultimate goal. With my Budo Academy I am aiming for many years to give all my students a good education in all the aspects of martial arts. Everybody is looking for something else during his lifetime in the Martial Arts. Budo Academy Physical is the place for technical study and human development. For me this in the legacy of the Budo Yoseikan Dojo of my master, Minoru Mochizuki. That’s why I use the old logo of the Budo Yoseikan Dojo for Budo Academy Physical, off course with permission. All seniors and higher ranks have the responsibility and duty to support the beginners and lower ranks to grow and to become better in the Martial Arts and to help each other to grow in building confidence and overcoming fears.
